Apologies for the recent hiatus with our weekly roundups. Things have been super busy on our end over the past month with some amazing projects we were blessed to work on! More on that shortly!
What we are working on:
We recently released two awesome articles titled, The Power of GIFs and 5 Things To Consider When Creating Social Media Copy.
Creating effective social media ads is a very important step towards success in the digital marketplace. With upwards of 3 billion people expected to be using social media in 2021, it certainly is a very important market.
As with all marketing, your copy is one of the most essential aspects of your ad. Social media ads are unique in the sense that they have much less space for copy, as well as audiences that only pay seconds of attention.
So how do you create brilliant social media copy that engages potential customers instantaneously? Check out the 5 things you need to consider when writing copy for your social media ads. Now if you can tie these in with animations and GIFs, BOOM you have a solid copy.
Our Recent Major Projects:
(One) During the month of Ramadan, we were blessed to have the opportunity to record two of the leading reciters in the US on a daily basis. When we were presented with this opportunity, this was something I could not say no to, even though I had a ton of fears and reasons to say no (including the fact that I have never managed a video production from start to finish!).
But when life presents you with major opportunities, you roll up your sleeves, learn the skill set needed, and level up!
And that is exactly what we had to do. Within a matter of 2-3 days, we had to learn about studio scene setup and manipulation, standard three-point lighting setup, along with the power of lighting, post-production in Adobe Premiere, LUTS manipulation, audio presents manipulations, and much more!
I’m sure there are still things that we could have done better but hey, this way, we were forced to dedicate around +225 hours during the month of Ramadan with recording, post production, and level up our video production skillset.
If you sit around waiting to reach the summit of the mountain in a skillset before you begin, you are going to be playing catchup forever.

(Two) Our second project that we have been working on is rolling out Sunan Designs 2.0! Over the past year, we have been working hard on expanding our services to include digital marketing (which includes social media ads management, Google ads management and others). And in doing so, we have had the fortune of adding amazing talent to our team who are Facebook certified and Google blackbelt certified! In the coming weeks, you are going to see some exciting news coming from us regarding this new service. Did I mention a new website launch as well? Stay tuned!
My biggest takeaway this week: The Power of Small Consistent Efforts
Dominating the micro on a consistent and daily basis will help you dominate the macro. Regardless of what it may be. If you want to become better at videos, get in front of the camera for 15 mins every day. If you want to be in the best shape of your life, do some sort of exercise for 15 mins every day. It’s the small consistent efforts that will help us become world class at what you do.
First, My challenge to myself. There are two things that I want to become amazing at. (One) I want to become a world class marketer so we can continue to make a difference in our community and the world. (Two) I want to become great at creating video content. Videos are the greatest communication tool of our time. From raising awareness for social causes to raising funds for relief work, video is what makes it all happen. These are my top two. The reason I’m sharing these is so you can hold me accountable!
Now it’s your turn: what consistent small efforts will you work on to move the needle in your life and allow you to become world class at something. Remember, the world that we see around us was shaped by ideas. Small ideas that were consistently worked on and improved on a daily basis. It’s time for us to make our mark.
