Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to the next round of the Sunan Weekly Roundup!
What We Are Working On
Recently, we published a blog titled “Why eBooks Are the Perfect Lead Magnet for Today’s Marketing Strategies” on our website. In it, we discussed how eBooks are powerful tools for capturing leads and nurturing prospects. As part of our growth strategy, we’re now working on incorporating this approach into our own marketing. However, at this point, I am struck by a book I came across, The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware and I’ve been thinking about a few things mentioned in it since.
We have one life, and the only time we have is now. The future is simply a concept created by us. If time truly exists, it’s only in the present moment. Despite this truth, many of us are so caught up in making a living that we forget to actually live. We chase after “tomorrow” without realizing that all we really have is today. This mindset often leads to unfulfilled dreams and missed opportunities.
My Biggest Takeaway: The Only Time We Have is Now!
Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse, captured the regrets of dying patients in her book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying. The most common regret was not living a life true to oneself, instead living according to others’ expectations. Many wished they hadn’t worked so hard, as they missed precious moments with family and friends. Others regretted losing touch with close friends or not allowing themselves to experience true happiness. These regrets highlight how we often prioritize the wrong things, focusing on external measures of success while neglecting what truly matters. The lesson is clear: make choices today that align with your deepest values, build everlasting relationships, and embrace happiness now.
